Did you know that you can watch almost any sport live on your PC? I know what you are thinking though. With computers and live broadcasts and PDAs and TIVO, there’s no real need to worry about how to watch tennis online. I am a big fan of tennis and tennis live matches are always on during peak Tennis season on my TV. But I do have to work for a living and one serious fact I’ve noticed is that even though, I record the live events; it’s just not that much fun. This is particularly irritating during peak season. I mean any self-respecting tennis fan knows that four Majors or the Australian Open that is held for players on hard courts, the French Open carried out on their world famous red clay courts, Wimbledon played the natural grass courts, and the US Open competed on the hard courts and the most famous and must-see tournaments during the summer season. With better players and higher seeds playing tough competitions, every season has serious surprises and I hate to miss anything.

But I do have to work for a living too. During peak summer season, I have to travel to far flung locations holding sales meetings for my pharmaceutical company. Meeting with sales personnel, sales teams, presentations and what-nots mean that I completely miss the season all together and have to rely on what I can catch on TV when I am free. However, the biggest problem here too is that my sales meetings easily run to 6-8 in the night followed by group dinner and I even miss match highlights. It literally makes me weep!

At a particular sales meeting, I noticed that one of the sales personnel was streaming a live audio track. On inquiring, he was the one who told me that satellite TV could be installed on any PC and even a laptop to watch tennis online. I was floored. I mean here I was struggling to match highlights when all I had to do was set up as small window on my laptop and watch the game as it played even at boring sales meetings! The games run live and I can catch match highlights, recaps, player interviews and post game events live as they transpire. I was able to catch all of the four Majors this season and I had a whale of a time too. One very important fact was that I could subscribe to an exclusive online tennis live channel that had events from all over the world. A few satellite TV programs even have special international sections where you could watch charity events, training sessions and player interviews before the match and after it too.

The program proved to be particularly useful in honing the game of my ten-year-old son. He plays tennis and watching his favorite players along with watch tennis online matches made his game that much better. Of course, I installed it on my home computer too and my wife and son can watch international matches, soaps, cooking shows and programs from all over the world. It well worth the expense and it’s quite useful too.
